Competitions
Feeling competitive? Join in! Or skip the competitions altogether and just come enjoy the afternoon.
Pumpkin carving: Grab some friends or family and make a team. We’ll provide each team with a pumpkin and carving kit. Feel free to bring any favorite carving tools of your own.
Chili cook-off & fall desserts: Bring your best chili or favorite fall dessert to share! Entries will be numbered and set out with dinner. Try them all, then write down the number of your favorite chili and favorite dessert and drop your votes in the ballot box.
Bragging rights — and maybe a prize or two — are on the line.
A few things to know
Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for the movie, and don’t forget something warm—it may get chilly after sunset.
We’ll have kid-friendly drinks and a few adult drinks, too. Feel free to bring a favorite of your own!
If rain gets in the way, we’ll reschedule and let everyone who RSVPs know the new date.
